University of California Berkeley study finds that failure to consider the healthy worker survivor bias can lead to highly misleading conclusions when analyzing the health impacts of hazardous exposures.
Providing research results for all to use
A priority for the Foundation is to make the results of the research efforts broadly available so that the solutions derived from the studies can be implemented by the mining industry or used by other researchers and practitioners to further advance these research agendas.
In this section, we highlight example projects that have the potential to significantly impact mining safety and health. A complete listing of project outputs by topic is available in an accompanying section.
